With a rich background in leadership and a genuine passion for community, Acacia has been a driving force in fostering an inclusive and supportive culture within her Chamber, the Kamloops region and the broader Chamber network.
Acacia’s journey is marked by significant achievements. She has successfully led multiple initiatives that have strengthened local businesses and enhanced community engagement. Her efforts have been instrumental in increasing the Chamber’s membership and expanding its influence within the region. Her leadership is defined by her boundless energy and compassion. She believes deeply in the power of community and works tirelessly to ensure everyone feels valued and empowered. Her commitment to inclusivity and personal development shines through in every aspect of her work and volunteer commitments.
She currently serves as the President of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of BC Society and has served on the Board since 2021. She is also a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Inclusive Growth Committee, formerly known as the Council for Women's Advocacy, and a Director of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada. Since 2012, she has been working with youth helping to improve their public speaking confidence through facilitating classes on speaking and presentations. In 2021, she was recognized by BC Business magazine on their Top 30 under 30 list.
Acacia is proud to live in Kamloops, with her partner and her dog, Murphy.
