Dr. Gregory Thomas is an environmental professional with 30 years as a practicing scientist, entrepreneur and business executive. Dr. Thomas is President of G3 Consulting Ltd. (G3), an environmental consulting and research firm based in Surrey, BC. As President of G3, Dr. Thomas is responsible for the organization’s overall operations and strategic direction. Dr. Thomas provides expert advice to clients worldwide and routinely meets and advises senior levels of government, corporate boards, shareholders and private firms on a variety of business, legal, policy, regulatory and scientific issues.

Dr. Thomas travels extensively for business and routinely debates and presents at international conferences and forums. Dr. Thomas is currently active in numerous international scientific and business organizations, including as Chair of BC Chamber Governance Committee and member of the Policy Review Committee, member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) Aboriginal Affairs Committee and Natural Resource and Environment Committee, Director of the Abbotsford International Airport, Past two-term Chair and now Governor of the Surrey Board of Trade (SBoT), member of the Surrey Board of Trade (SBoT) Environmental Committee and Chair of the SBOT International Trade and Industry Committee and Chair of Kwantlen Polytechnic Environmental Protection Technology Program Steering Committee and numerous other professional obligations.
