Ted Martindale started this business over 20 years ago in Quesnel. There have been a few changes over the years, but the most consistent things he does are offer outstanding customer service, support locally made coffee and give back continually to other businesses and non-profits. He recently celebrated his 80th birthday and shared a 6,000-pound carrot cake with the community.
He is a brilliant businessman who never stops working. His kindness and generosity to the homeless are beyond measure: if you can’t afford to eat, just sit down, and someone will be with you and provide a meal. I couldn’t list the number of donations he has given to support everyone; there isn’t a group he doesn’t care about.
