
Air Canada is Canada's largest airline, the country’s flag carrier and a founding member of Star Alliance, and provides direct service to more than 100 destinations on six continents. It is the only international network carrier in North America to receive a Four-Star ranking from Skytrax.
Air Canada connects BC to the world and has developed its YVR hub into a premier trans-Pacific global center with more than 70 non-stop destinations served internationally, across North America and within BC. With more than 190 daily departures from YVR, Air Canada supports tourism, trade and investment and contributes $30Billion to GDP, with $5Billion directly in BC.
The airline also delivers the best of BC to the world through its Cargo operations. In 2025, close to 119 million kilograms were processed in YVR, with more than 78% transiting through the facility highlighting the importance of YVR as airfreight hub to and from Asia. The local freight consists mainly of fresh products like seafood, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and complemented by general cargo.
Air Canada is the Official Airline of the Vancouver Canucks. Within BC, Air Canada supports communities through The Air Canada Foundation, including the BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) by transporting kids from other parts of BC to the BCCH for medical treatment.
