Chamber Network

Fiona Famulak, President and CEO of the BC Chamber of Commerce, announced today that Melissa Pace (pronounced Pa-Chay) is joining the provincial association as the new Director, Member Experience.

“Melissa brings a wealth of experience from her five years as the CEO of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and another 35 years working in the tourism and hospitality sector here in British Columbia,” Famulak said. “She is a respected leader and fierce advocate for business, who has brought a bold voice to many conversations with government, and encouraged positive change for businesses and not-for-profits locally, provincially and nationally.”

As Director, Member Experience, Pace will contribute to the delivery of the provincial association’s 2022-24 Strategic Plan by proactively engaging member Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade from across the province on their evolving short-, medium- and long-term needs, exploring ideas and connecting with colleagues to deliver high-value solutions that are responsive, timely and that enrich the member experience.

“I could not be more excited to work side by side with the leaders in the BC Chamber network,” Pace said. “I am grateful to have this amazing opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with them and uncover new and unique ways to strengthen their organizations and build a stronger, supportive, and sustainable chamber network.”
