The Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce has played an integral role in community engagement since the early establishment of Prince Rupert. Its roots can be traced back to 1908 when it originated as the Board of Trade and subsequently obtained incorporation in 1910. Witnessing a transformative phase in 1929, the organization evolved into the Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout its extensive history spanning over 110 years, the Chamber has been steered by the guidance and commitment of numerous dedicated local business individuals. Their collective efforts have shaped the Chamber into a dynamic and influential force within the community, fostering economic growth and collaboration.
