Chris Callanan is Regional Manager of Employer Services and part of the Senior Leadership Team at North Island Employment located in Campbell River; with offices in Port Hardy and Port McNeill. As the leading workforce development agency in the Vancouver Island North region, this award winning organization has over 35 years in business and is a cornerstone in communities, building extensive partnerships with businesses, other agencies, communities and individuals across the North Island.
During his career, Chris has established his reputation for building relationships with Employers, organizations and community leaders as has collaborated on many provincially recognized projects.

Chris began his career as a Human Resources Leader for large North American Retailers. Leading and developing teams across Western Canada. That eventually led to his work North Island Employment; a contractor to the Provinces, WorkBC program. During this time, Chris continues to share his expertise with several Boards and Committees.
