Siraz Dalmir is the Community Relations Manager for the Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley with FortisBC. During his twelve-years (and counting) at Fortis, he has worked in a number of municipal-facing roles. In his current position, Siraz works closely with British Columbia municipalities & local governments, along with key stakeholders and local government associations to pursue projects & partnerships to better use energy to support communities’ triple bottom line, namely: economic development, environment & climate action, and affordability & social equity.

Siraz brings 25 years of marketing & sales, business strategy and relationship development experience in the software, entertainment, wireless telecom, and energy industries. His passion is for exploring new avenues for business and government to collaborate to help communities prosper.

Siraz received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of British Columbia and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Royal Roads University.
